Payment & Security

Buying classroom supplies should not come with worries about your card. This page explains how Teach Supply protects your payment information, which payment methods we accept, and what will appear on your statement.

Encrypted From Start to Finish

Every page of teachingsupply.store is served over HTTPS using TLS encryption, not just the checkout. Information you send us, from your shipping address to your payment details, travels over an encrypted connection between your browser and our site. You can confirm this by looking for “https://” and the lock icon in your browser’s address bar.

How Your Card Data Is Handled

  • Card payments are processed by a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. Your card number is entered into secure payment fields and sent directly to the processor for authorization.
  • Your card is tokenized: the processor replaces your card number with a random token that can only be used for the transaction it was created for.
  • We never store full card numbers or security codes (CVV) on our servers. Our order records hold only basic details such as the card type and the last four digits, so we can help you identify a charge.
  • Access to order information is limited to the people who need it to fulfil and support your order.

Fraud Screening

To protect you and us from unauthorized purchases, every order is screened before it ships:

  • Address Verification (AVS) compares the billing address you enter with the address on file with your card issuer.
  • Card security code (CVV) checks confirm that the person ordering has the physical card details.
  • 3-D Secure authentication is used where your card issuer supports it, which may ask you to confirm the purchase with your bank.
  • Orders that do not pass screening may be held while we verify them by email, or cancelled and refunded in full.

Accepted Payment Methods

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Discover
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay

Apple Pay and Google Pay appear at checkout on supported devices and browsers. All prices are in US dollars.

One-Time Charges Only

Every Teach Supply order is a single, one-time charge for the items in your cart, plus shipping and tax where they apply. We do not offer subscriptions, memberships, automatic reorders or recurring billing, and we never charge your card again without a new order from you. If you return items, the refund goes back to the same payment method you used.

What You Will See on Your Statement

Your purchase appears on your card or bank statement as:

TEACHSUPPLY

Some banks add a few extra characters or a location to the description, but TEACHSUPPLY will be part of it. Your order confirmation email also lists the order total, so you can match the charge to your order.

Questions About a Charge

If you see a charge you do not recognize or something about your order is not right, please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. We resolve most issues within one business day, and a refund from us usually reaches you faster than a bank dispute does. Email support@teachingsupply.store with your order number or the date and amount of the charge, and a person will look into it right away.

Keeping Your Account Safe

  • Use a strong, unique password if you create an account with us.
  • We will never ask for your full card number, security code or password by email.
  • If you receive a message that claims to be from us and asks for payment details, do not reply; forward it to support@teachingsupply.store.
