This Privacy Policy explains how Teach Supply LLC (“Teach Supply,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit teachingsupply.store, place an order, or contact us. By using our site, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Contact and order details: your name, email address, shipping and billing addresses, a contact number for delivery, and the items you order.
- Account details: if you create an account, your login email and password (stored in encrypted form) and your order history.
- School and tax information: if you buy on behalf of a school or organization, its name, and any tax-exempt certificate you send us.
- Messages: what you write to us by email, including photos you send about an order.
Payment information
Card payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number or security code. We keep limited payment details, such as the card type, the last four digits and the transaction result, to match payments to orders and process refunds.
Information collected automatically
When you use our site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring page, and the date and time of your visit. Some of this is collected through cookies, described below.
How We Use Your Information
- To process, ship and support your orders, including sending order confirmations, shipping updates and tracking information
- To apply sales tax exemptions for eligible schools and organizations
- To respond to your questions, returns and quote requests
- To screen orders for fraud and protect the security of our site and customers
- To operate, maintain and improve our website and product selection
- To send occasional emails about products or offers, only if you have opted in; every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link

How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share personal information only with:
- Service providers who help us run the store, such as our payment processor, shipping and freight carriers, website hosting, email delivery and fraud screening providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Legal and safety recipients when required by law, subpoena or court order, or when needed to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
- A successor business if Teach Supply is involved in a merger, sale or transfer of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use:
- Essential cookies that keep items in your cart, keep you signed in and secure checkout. The site cannot work properly without them.
- Analytics cookies that tell us, in aggregate, which pages are visited and how the site performs, so we can improve it.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent the cart and checkout from working.
Your Rights and Choices
You can ask us at any time to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy
- Correct information that is inaccurate

California and other US state privacy rights
If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon or another state with a consumer privacy law, you may have additional rights, including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and how we use and share them, the right to request deletion or correction, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising, and the right to appeal a decision we make about your request. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
To make a request, email support@teachingsupply.store with the subject “Privacy request.” We will verify your identity by matching the information you provide with our records, and we respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we may ask the agent for proof of authorization. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject “Privacy appeal.”
Data Retention
We keep order and transaction records for as long as needed to fulfil orders, handle returns and warranty questions, and meet tax and accounting requirements, which is generally up to seven years. Account information is kept until you ask us to delete your account. Support emails are kept for up to three years. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
How We Protect Information
Our entire site uses HTTPS encryption. Card data is handled by a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor and tokenized, so we never store full card numbers. Access to customer information is limited to people who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you as required by law if a breach affects you. Children’s Privacy
teachingsupply.store is a store for adults purchasing supplies for classrooms, schools and homes. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Teachers and schools should not send us student names or other student information; we do not need it to fulfil any order. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will post a notice on our site. Your continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
