Cutting a class set of flashcards with scissors takes an afternoon; a good trimmer takes minutes. This 18 inch guillotine cuts up to 15 sheets of standard copy paper in one stroke, and the adjustable back gauge locks at a set width so every strip comes out the same. A finger guard runs the length of the blade, and the arm latches down when not in use.
